Tim Burton's iconic ghost returns to the big screen
The official trailer for "Beetlejuice 2" has been released, giving fans a first glimpse at the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 1988 film. Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega, and Winona Ryder reprise their roles as Beetlejuice, Lydia Deetz, and Winona Ryder, respectively.
The trailer shows Beetlejuice up to his old tricks, causing chaos and mayhem wherever he goes. Lydia, now a teenager, must once again call upon Beetlejuice's help to deal with a new threat to her family home. The trailer also features a cameo appearance by Tim Burton, who directed the original film.
"Beetlejuice 2" is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2024. The film is directed by Henry Selick, who previously worked with Burton on "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
